Taizhou Bay Bridge and its connection project 2017-08-08
Taizhou Bay Bridge and its connection project are very important parts of the Taizhou coastal highway.
The Taizhou Bay Bridge crosses the sea from Linhai city to Jiaojiang city in Zhejiang Province, China.
The project began on December 28, 2012 and is expected to open to traffic by the end of the 2018. The overall length of the bridge is 4038m, three lanes wide on both sides, with designed travel speed of 100km/hr.
Bi-directional static load test of this project is being conducted by Super-Cell patented Super Cell.
Pile quantity: 46pcs+15pcs (conducted with double level load cells)
Single pile testing load: 5,700kN~15,000kN (1,281kip~3,372kip)
Pile diameter: 1.3m~2m (51.2in~78.7in)
