The second Humen Bridge

The second Humen Bridge is a bridge connecting the cities of Humen and Guangzhou in Guangdong Province of Southern China. 

Stretching over 12,89KM long, four lanes wide on both sides, with designed travel speed of 100km/hr.

This bridge crosses the Pearl River, which has two spans longer than one kilometer, the central span being 1,688m (only 303m shorter than the longest central span of any suspension bridge in the world, at 1,991 meters), and the another section is 1200m. 

The construction of this bridge is expected to be finished in 2019. 

Super-Cell Technology provided the pile load capacity test of this bridge by bi-directional static load test method with Super-Cell patented Super Cell in 2014.
